Therefore, I can design your logo, advertising, take photos and shoot the video. As a result, this maintains the visual style all the way through. Hence, you only ever work with one person.

graphics

I worked as a design studio manager for many years abroad. However, now I’m a freelance graphic designer in Aylesbury. My work includes logos, brochures, magazines to large format posters, advertising and corporate material. Because of these skills, I can manage projects from start to finish. Read more…

My photography is varied. Events, portraits and landscapes, to property and macro. However, these skills are supported with an excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom. I have also worked as film stills photographer with Tornasol Films S.A. in Spain. 

PRINTING

If you are unsure about the print process or how to get your files output, please contact me. I can find a print company or arrange it for you. I worked with a print company for many years. Because of this, I have valuable experience in this field. Anything designed on screen can be printed, but you have to know how to prepare the file for output. Get it wrong, and it could be costly, especially on a big print run.

Drone

I am a licensed CAA drone pilot and qualified to fly commercially. I use drones primarily for property photography and video. Read more…

Video

I use Panasonic cameras for most projects. I’m normally the director, cameraman, sound, lighting, editor all rolled in to one. Projects can be corporate events to documentaries as well as ‘Behind the Scenes’. 

timelapse

An extension of my photography is timelapse. They require planning and patience but the results are rewarding. Warning: pigeons are very curious and love to use a camera as a perch!

Stood under a Spitfire at RAF Changi

My father was aircrew in the RAF. Consequently I was raised on a number of bases from Colerne to Changi. As a result, I wanted to fly ever since I was a grub in the hive. Sadly, becoming an RAF pilot didn’t really take off. Therefore I’m a graphic designer, photographer and videographer living and working in the Aylesbury area.

I went to university and left with a BA Honours degree and Post Grad in graphic design. I had a few graphics and artworker jobs. Then found myself running a design studio of four designers and a repro in Tenerife. As a result, this gave me full working knowledge of the print design process. This included taking design briefs to pre-press, impositions and ‘finishing’.

I see the world in light, shadows, colour and shapes. I also tend to look at things from a lateral view. My mind enjoys visual jigsaws which helps me in all areas of my work.

Finally, I’ve now relocated to the UK hive to continue as a freelance graphic designer in Aylesbury. I still go gliding when I can to quench that thirst for flying.
