I loved working with Paula Cancio. Always available for taking her photo, always smiling. However, in this shot she is, well, not smiling. Paula was preparing for a scene where her character is crying as a result of an argument. So to get her in the zone, she used a recording personal to her. Her earphones can be seen as she listens intently. I was quite a distance from her with my zoom lens, so the shutter click did not distract her at all.
